STAIRCASES
I love the challenge, artistry, and variety possible in creating staircases.
Over-the-Post Style
This stairway has a double starting step, with over-sized volutes. The part of the rail that curves to get up over the newel post is referred to as a gooseneck, or up-easing. The balusters are wrought iron, with different designs alternating.
Installation included all skirtboards, risers, aprons, nosings, moldings, and complete balustrade.

Altar
All the parts of the three wide curved steps of the altar in this modern Catholic church were fabricated by me on the job. This is St. Mary's Church, Johnson City, Tennessee.
